SMART Board™ rear projection systems
The primary benefit of rear projection systems is ultimately that they transmit computer and video images from behind the screen, eliminating the possibility of interrupting the projection light path and generating shadows. These flexible systems are effectively an interactive whiteboard, projector and multimedia station in one unit. So if you rearrange your classroom for different activities you can easily move the rear projection cabinet with virtually no set up. And because the projector moves with the unit you don' t need to realign the image or orient the screen.
The SMART Board 2000i interactive white board system offers an integrated system incorporating a rear projection SMART Board, native XGA (1024 x 768) 2000 ANSI lumen projector with short throw lens and integrated stereo audio system. Because different pupils come in different sizes, the screen is height adjustable from 1753mm - 2108mm so anyone can use it. The connection panel at the rear supports a video output to a second projector, external audio output, network and printer connections. Below the cabinet is room to accommodate a computer and other source equipment. The SMART Board 2000i system is 902m deep with feet retracted.
The slim line SMART Board 3000i interactive white board system is only 740mm deep and offers an integrated system incorporating a rear projection SMART Board, native XGA (1024 x 768) 2000 ANSI lumen projector with short throw lens, integrated stereo audio system. An integrated X-port 20 switch enables you to connect a second computer whilst the rear connection panel supports a video output to a second projector, external audio output network and printer connections. The lower cabinet has two lockable doors with room to accommodate a computer and 19" rack for securing rack mount source equipment.
